How to Disapprove a Flight #
Disapproving a flight event in PilotDuty is a straightforward process. This can be done when a flight or its details need correction or should be removed from official duty calculations. Disapproving one flight will disapprove the entire event and all other flights associated with it.
Step 1: Go to the Logbook Tab #
- Tap on the Logbook icon from the bottom navigation.
Step 2: Find the Flight #
- Locate the flight you wish to disapprove in the list.
- You will see an “UnApprove” yellow button on the right side of the flight entry.
Step 3: Tap “UnApprove” #
- Swipe or tap on the “UnApprove” button.
- A confirmation screen will appear, prompting you to provide a reason for disapproval.

Step 4: Provide a Reason #
- Enter the reason in the textbox provided.
- Tap “Submit Reason” to confirm the disapproval.
⚠️ Important: When you disapprove a flight, the event containing that flight and all associated flights will be disapproved. The disapproved event will be found on the Dashboard view in the awaiting approval section.

⚠️ Note:
If you have disapproved a flight by mistake, you can reapprove it on Dashboard View in the awaiting approval section.
